San Francisco Bay is considered one of the best sailing venues in North America. The Golden Gate Bridge serves as an iconic backdrop to the SF sailing scene, but what is the sailing like beyond the Golden Gate? You can find out this summer by joining OCSC Sailing for an Offshore Adventure!
Venture “out the gate” in July or August for a weekend of coastal and blue-water cruising with one of our US Sailing Coastal Passagemaking Instructors. You don’t need to have coastal passage making experience yourself to be part of the crew. As on all OCSC sailing outings, everyone on board gets the opportunity to crew in all positions, including the helm.
You’ll sail on our 49’, 4-cabin Jeanneau that is fully equipped for offshore sailing. You may stay on the boat the Friday night of the weekend for no extra cost. Overnight destinations include Drakes Bay or Half Moon Bay, and rounding the Farallones is a possibility too depending on the weather and sea state. This is also a great opportunity to see all the wildlife that the California coast has to offer.
Space is limited to 6 crew on each weekend. Call and speak with a Club Manager to reserve your berth now! 800.223.2984
