Since 1994, California cruisers have been making the fun and moderately competitive trip down the Pacific Coast of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula as part of the annual race known as the “Baja Ha-Ha.” The race is a two-week cruisers rally from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, which takes place every fall and draws both experienced and novice ocean sailors.
This year, a group of OCSC Staff are participating in the race. Instructors Bob Johnson and Geoff Byrne and Fleet Service Team Member Jansen Gwin will be sailing on Bob’s boat, a Tayana 37 named Charisma. You can follow the journey of the good ship Charisma on their Blog. Good Luck!
