Manu Kai Ocean Adventures

Interested in trying out some open ocean passage making before you jump out on your own? Does your “bucket list” include sailing across the equator?  Join Manu Kai Ocean Adventures on her upcoming 2012 South Pacific crossings to make your sailing dreams come true …

The Deerfoot 63, Kailani, is off to the South Pacific next spring and we have a few open berths available on each of three legs as we make our way south to New Zealand.  As always, we welcome sailors of all experience levels as well as non-sailors looking for a unique adventure.  You will stand a regular watch and help out with day to day ship board duties. Your guides, Harley Earl and Tom Prior, are experienced OCSC sailing instructors with tens of thousands of blue water miles in their wake, and the syllabus is designed to cover the critical elements of ocean passage making. All participants will receive a sea time endorsement and written evaluation at the conclusion of the passage.*
