From Flipper to The Cove and Blood Dolphin$ – A Conversation with Ric O’Barry

If you saw the movie The Cove, you know how important and urgent Ric O’Barry’s message of stopping the dolphin slaughter in Japan is.  This message is near and dear to our hearts, and we hope you’ll come out to support Ric as he gives an update on all his work.

Ric O’Barry is the star of the Oscar-winning documentary The Cove and the hit Animal Planet TV series ‘Blood Dolphin$.’

He’ll provide an update on the International Marine Mammal Project’s Save Japan Dolphins campaign and his recent trip to Japan, where he delivered a 1.7 million signature petition to stop the annual dolphin slaughter in Taiji.

Ric will also share video clips and conversation with Dave Phillips, Executive Director of Earth Island Institute and Director of the International Marine Mammal Project.

When: Thursday, October 21, 7 p.m., Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
