OCSC SAILING – Catalina 355 – Debra Lee – 01

Brand New Catalina 355 Added to OCSC Fleet

Join us in welcoming a brand new and award winning Catalina 355 to our fleet! Debera Lee is comfortable, well-built, and, as you will discover, a true joy to sail. Built as the flagship of Catalina’s “Cruiser Series,” the Catalina 355 is designed to be the ideal mid-sized coastal cruiser and is just about perfect for the conditions regularly experienced on San Francisco Bay.

The 355 comes rigged with a 150% roller furling Genoa as well as a vertically battened roller furling mainsail. Her cabin top mainsheet system with large traveler track allows for convenient yet specific mainsail trimming. She also comes equipped with an electric windless for easy anchoring, inboard Yanmar diesel engine, cockpit table, and a wheel that can fold up while at dock or anchor for added cockpit room.

Down below in the cabin she is outfitted with a guest quarter birth and a captain’s v-birth. Both sleeping quarters are equipped with spring mattresses. Debera Lee also has a full head, navigation table, as well as a large U-shaped galley. The starboard dinette table is perfect for a nice dinner while at anchor or dock and can easily accommodate three or four people.

If you are used to sailing our Catalina 36’s or Catalina 32’s, the new 355 won’t be too different in terms of operation. However, this model is definitely an advancement in Catalina’s already stellar line of yachts. If you would like to book a tour of the Debera Lee, please stop by and ask one of our Club Managers. We hope that you will enjoy this boat as much as we do!
